I’ve become hooked on James Clear’s book Atomic Habits. If you have not had the chance to read it yet, I HIGHLY encourage you to do so. His book has made me think about different aspects of my life and how I can make better habits in order to make real changes in my work and life. I have implemented changes into my daily life habits and I’ve used these theories in how I work with my Marketing Consulting clients and my Amplify Your Influence 1:1 Coaching clients. Specifically, with how I think about “goal setting”. When working with my clients, we discuss ways we can make small changes in the way we go about our work day, when added up over a period of time, actually produce results.
James Clear also sends out a weekly email on Thursday which he provides:
So I thought I’d give it a go, and see if I could mimic his template for myself, as I connect with you. Time to have some fun...
Here are 3 ideas, 2 quotes, and 1 question to consider this week.

“When something in your life seems too overwhelming, and hard to get started, how can you break the something down into smaller more functional chunks to make it appear easier to accomplish?”
“ Just Show Up. The battle is within. Networking in 2023 is going to be huge for you if you show up and engage with potential clients or customers. The same can be said for using Instagram or starting an email list. Nothing is going to happen without the work.”
2 Quotes from Others
"A slight change in your daily habits can guide your life to a very different destination. James Clear, Atomic Habits
“As a parent, as a leader, you have the power to create the atmosphere in your organization, in your team, in your household.”

Email me, you share yours and I’ll share mine
Until next time, let’s be honest it may be next month…
